The Queen’s Sailing team has finished yet another successful season. The team started the season by welcoming 24 new athletes to our large team comprising a total of 48 athletes. With new athletes and a new coach, James Rountree, our focus was re-building the team for the future after many senior athletes graduated last year.

Our team holds practices Monday - Thursday from 3-6 pm and Tuesday - Thursday from 7-10 am, in addition to mandatory strength and conditioning sessions. We compete in 2 conferences: in Canada, the Canadian Intercollegiate Sailing Association (CICSA), and in North America (ICSA), the Mid Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA).

Some notable achievements of our season include: Team Racing National Champions (7th year in a row), 3rd Overall at the Keelboat National Championships and therefore once again qualified for the Student Yachting World Cup (3nd year in a row) and 2nd Overall at the Fleet Racing National Championship.
