Day 1 at the Luce Regatta at Kings Point started with a light SW breeze at 5-8 knots. As the day went on the breeze clocked farther right to a solid westerly direction for a better part of the day at about 8-14 knots. we finished up with 10 races in each division. Queens ended the first day in 9th overall.
Day 2: The day began with winds of about 17knts, gusting up to around 22knts with 2 foot chop. Queens sailors were stoked for the favorable conditions, but unfortunately many other teams felt uncomfortable in the building breeze. Racing was postponed on shore, and the regatta was called around 11:30.
Special thanks to coach Rob Frost for coaching us on the water this weekend!
