Saturday October 25th 2014

Day 1 at the CICSA Fleet Racing nationals at RMC started with SW breeze of around 15-18 knots. As the day went on the breeze died down, clocking farther right to a more westerly direction.

We finished 8 races in each division, with Queens in the lead, nine points ahead of McGill.

Sunday October 26th 2014

Day 2 began with winds of about 15knts, gusting up to around 22knts with 2 foot chop. The wind was shifty and puffy.

McGill attempted to close the gap, with Queens having only a 4 point lead heading into the final race. Queens managed to hold onto their lead, winning CICSA Fleet Racing Nationals for the second consecutive year.

Skippers for Queen’s were Greg Clunies and Brendan Aulthouse, with crews Flurry Hogg, Sean Magee-Saxton and David Kagan.
